PHYSICAL
Logitech M720 Triathlon Multi-Device Wireless Mouse
Throughout my day, I am often on multiple computers from Macs, PCs, and Chromebooks. Once this mouse is configured with bluetooth, it connects to three computers and switches between them with a dedicated button on the top. It also has a removable USB-A dongle that can be a fourth connection. One of the best features is with the included Logitech Flow Multi-Device software which allows me to have one mouse control two computers at the same time (even with different OS.)Utili-Key
Utili-Key is a simple folding blade that's handy for travel. When a pocket knife won't make it through, this is small, useful and fits nicely on a keychain. And, if it does get removed by security, you're only out ten bucks.Apple iPod Touch
Even though Apple has stopped making iPod Touches, it is still my go to podcast device. I listen to a ton of podcasts, and of course I could manage them on my phone, but having a dedicated device to store and auto download, means my phone storage stays free and I can leave it right in my car or travel bag.
DIGITAL
High-speed acoustic holography with arbitrary scattering objects. We often look to science fiction to think of what may be possible. One of the common tools in most scifi futures are interactive holograms that seem to appear in thin air. This video is that technology in action, albeit at a smaller scale. Using high speed acoustics, UCL researchers are able to manipulate imagery over and around stationary objects. While it's not quite Princess Leia projected in mid air, "Help me, Obi-Wan Kenobi; you're my only hope." It is one step closer.
Office Hours - YouTube Channel for media production support. As a teacher it's important to have a community that furthers your own learning. Office Hours is a daily YouTube stream where audio, video and multimedia experts answer questions live. When problems come up too complex to Google and AI is of no help, it's invaluable to have an actual person get those questions addressed.
INVISIBLE
Aristotle quote:
"Teaching is the highest form of understanding."
As an educator, this has become something of a mantra me as I strive to place my students in teaching experiences so they they may learn how they learn.

Most people ditch their old iPhones when they upgrade.
I don’t.
The iPod “thing?”
Great idea. I had a “zillion” iPods in my lifetime, but never a Touch.
Instead, I have repurposed an IPhone 6S Plus (with an actual Home Button!) and a shitload of storage.
Music and Podcasts.
No muss, no fuss.
Again, great idea.
